Your Tasks

  • Guide the mobile app development team in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge mobile applications for eBikes using Flutter.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and eBike experts to understand project requirements, define technical specifications and plan development milestones
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality, performance and scalability
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the eBike industry, including emerging technologies and regulations and ensure the team is well-informed and prepared
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the mobile applications with hardware components, backend services, APIs and third-party systems
  • Supervise the definition and implementation of comprehensive automated testing processes to guaranty the reliability, safety and optimal performance of the applications

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a mobile app development with focus on flutter
  • 5+ years of experience as a tech owner or similar role in mobile app development
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications within defined timelines, preferably in the eBike industry
  • Strong knowledge of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices
  • Expertise in Dart programming language and hands-on experience with the Flutter framework and its ecosystem.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and optionally with CodeMagic handling CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity of eBike-related functionalities and industry standards, including Bluetooth connectivity, battery management, GPS tracking, and ride analytics.
  • Ability to inspire a team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in English

About us

Porsche eBike Performance GmbH develops and produces pioneering drive systems under two brands at the company's location in Ottobrunn near Munich: compact lightweights from FAZUA for agile e-bikes that create an exceptionally natural riding experience, and in future also particularly powerful drive systems under the Porsche brand name. FAZUA is a young, ambitious brand that turned the bicycle industry on its head in 2017 with a completely new, innovative drive system for lightweight, agile (and good-looking) e-bikes. We have been part of Porsche eBike Performance GmbH since July 2022.
