About us

Porsche eBike Performance GmbH develops and produces pioneering drive systems under two brands at the company's location in Ottobrunn near Munich: compact lightweights from FAZUA for agile e-bikes that create an exceptionally natural riding experience, and in future also particularly powerful drive systems under the Porsche brand name. FAZUA is a young, ambitious brand that turned the bicycle industry on its head in 2017 with a completely new, innovative drive system for lightweight, agile (and good-looking) e-bikes. We have been part of Porsche eBike Performance GmbH since July 2022. Our diverse, open, progressive (and fun) team is looking forward to new inspiring talents who want to shape the future of e-bike technology and establish a new bike culture with us.

Your Tasks

  • You will be responsible for selecting suppliers and defining global supplier strategies for mechanical and mechatronic components 
  • You monitor and analyse procurement markets in order to identify and develop high-performance suppliers at an early stage
  • You advise neighbouring functions (especially R&D) on future-oriented technologies and partners 
  • You negotiate sustainable purchasing conditions and contracts with existing and new suppliers
  • You independently drive all measures to achieve our savings, supply and quality targets in the product groups assigned to you in close coordination with the neighbouring departments 
  • You will work very closely with colleagues from Project Purchasing to carry out cost estimates, calculations and negotiations, select suitable suppliers and achieve the project goals together  
  • You continuously develop our procurement processes, strategies and purchasing controlling 
  • You support and promote cross-departmental collaboration in the spirit of continuous "end-to-end" improvement   


Your Profile

  • You have a university degree in industrial engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • You have several years of experience in the field of cost analysis in the technical-industrial sector
  • You have in-depth experience in data, product cost and financial analyses
  • You are also characterised by your very confident handling of established cost analysis solutions (e.g. Polarix, Kerkoff or similar)
  • You have a very good understanding of highly complex technical components and how they are manufactured and function
  • You are confident in working with ERP systems (especially SAP) and have excellent MS Office skills
  • You have strong analytical and strategic skills and know how to manage projects independently and set up corresponding processes where necessary 
  • Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication skills and a confident demeanour round off your profile 
  • You also have very good presentation skills (D and C level)
  • You are business fluent in written and spoken German and English
