About us

Porsche eBike Performance GmbH develops and produces pioneering drive systems under two brands at the company's location in Ottobrunn near Munich: compact lightweights from FAZUA for agile e-bikes that create an exceptionally natural riding experience, and in future also particularly powerful drive systems under the Porsche brand name. FAZUA is a young, ambitious brand that turned the bicycle industry on its head in 2017 with a completely new, innovative drive system for lightweight, agile (and good-looking) e-bikes. We have been part of Porsche eBike Performance GmbH since July 2022. Our diverse, open, progressive (and fun) team is looking forward to new inspiring talents who want to shape the future of e-bike technology and establish a new bike culture with us.

Your Tasks

You will actively support our team in the development of embedded hardware and the associated testing. Thereby you will take on exciting and diverse tasks.

  • A large part of your work will involve setting up and carrying out tests
  • This includes the organisation, procurement and preparation of the required test equipment
  • You prepare different DUTs (Devices Under Test) variants for different test scenarios
  • Commissioning test specimens and the associated test software will also be part of the responsibilities
  • Documenting, analysing and evaluating the test results is an essential component of your tasks
  • In all your tasks, you work closely with our test and development teams to create innovative solutions

Your Profile

  • You are enrolled as a student in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree programme
  • Initial practical experience with embedded hardware (e.g. through internships, university projects or your own tinkering) is an advantage
  • In addition to your enthusiasm for electromobility, you ideally also have a passion for e-bikes and enjoy cycling yourself
  • Thanks to practical experience you can handle a soldering iron
  • Moreover you have a basic understanding of electrical circuits
  • You are motivated to put your theoretical knowledge from your studies into practice and actively participate in the development of our products
  • Working independently, staying organized, and enjoying teamwork are among your strengths
  • A good command of German and English rounds off your profile
